Miscellaneous Information

Native of Loudonville, New York, graduated from Utica College of Syracuse University w/ a BS in Business Administration & Marketing. Joined Hyatt Hotel Corporation in 1971 following his return from Vietnam, a 1st Lt., Army Quartermaster.

First Executive Director of the Empire State Plaza Convention and Arts Center. Worked for two decades with the Office of General Services, New York State, and also was co-founder of Albany County Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Empire State Society of Association Executives. Employed at NYRA as site manager, eventually becoming Manager of Planning and Community Relations at the Saratoga Race Track.

Currently serves as president elect for Saratoga Springs Rotary Club and the Board of the Saratoga City Center. He and has wife Mary Lou have six grown children and reside in Saratoga Springs.

Tuesday - Saturday | 10:00 am - 4:00 pm (Closed Sunday & Monday)

Research Center Hours

Appointments are required.
Tuesday – Friday | 11:00 am to 4:00 pm

The museum is closed on
all New York State & Federal Holidays.
